Tycho
General Michael Taylor
Commander, Special Operations Group Omega (ABVFS)
Originally enlisted as a Confederation Marine during the Kilrathi War, Michael Taylor became a Landing Craft pilot during the last days of the war. In the Border Worlds crisis of 2672 he became a front line fighter pilot and eventually Squadron Commander of the famed "Loaded Dice" squadron.
He was one of the key "Renegades" who mutinied against Confed at the start of the Harvester war in late 2675, serving as tactical commander for the retaking of Erinin during the second battle of Lelarin and again at the Battle of the Gate Node in the Ardana Quadrant. Tycho is blood bound to the Kilrathi Ki'ra clan and is secretly one of the architects of the ABVFS and the "Eden Treaty". He currently serves as Commander of Special Operations Group Omega. He is married to ETO Representative Christina Creid-Taylor, and has a young son named Andrew.

1st Lieutenant Tyler Preston
Combat Pilot, SFW-42 (ABVFS)
Once a hot headed fresh graduate from the Confederation's Space Academy full of piss and vinegar, Tyler Preston found himself during his first tour of duty in the midst of a massive mutiny aboard several ships in Confed's 4th Fleet during a massive change in the intergalatic political climate. Opting to keep flying, Preston defected as well, and found a home in the Alliance's ABVFS Special Operations military service.
While considerably toned down from his early months in service, Preston still remains a man fueled by egotistical self-flattery and his inherant aggressive nature. Now a long way from home and little to call his own, he looks to cut his own corner of the Alliance history books by doing the only two things he thinks he does best, space combat, and talking about space combat.
